The Lavender Raindrop
Inspired by our rather mixed Gower weather, here’s a raindrop you won’t be sad to see heading your way…
Ingredients:
50ml Gin of your choice
50ml Lavender syrup
150ml Tonic
Juice of 1/2 Lemon
Juice 1/2 Clementine
Ice
Raindrops (optional, lol)
Edible flowers to decorate
Method:
Put a handful of ice in a gin balloon or tumbler. Pour over equal measures of gin and lavender syrup. Add the lemon and clementine juice, and muddle. Add the tonic, and finish with a few flowers (we used a sprig of dried lavender and some freshly picked violets). Drink, and say ‘aah!’
You can make a beautiful mocktail version too, just by leaving out the gin.
