This amazingly simple lavender ice cream can be made without churning, so you won’t need an ice cream maker, and you won’t need to stir while it’s freezing either.
Just whip all the ingredients together, freeze and enjoy with your favourite sprinkles, berries or treats.
Ingredients
- ½ a 397g can sweetened condensed milk
- 600ml pot double cream
- 3 tsp lavender syrup
- Fresh lavender and berries (or sprinkles of your choice) to serve
Method
- Combine all the ingredients in a large bowl.
- Use an electric whisk to beat the mixture together until it’s thickened and stiff.
- Decant into an old ice-cream carton or a loaf tin, cover and freeze until solid – no churning or ice-cream maker required!
- Place scoops of ice cream into bowls, and garnish with fresh lavender flowers and your choice of berries. You can also add more lavender syrup to taste.
- Enjoy!
